Enter your registered Thoroughbred in any of the 10 events. Scores accumulate throughout the circuit. Overall highest score at each level will win Grand Finale prize money of $700 for 1st and $300 for second place at Millbrook Horse Trial, August 2-5
The Career 2 NY Circuit is sponsored by NY Racing Association (NYRA) operators of Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga racetracks and NY Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (NYTHA), in conjunction with TIP, the Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive program.
Here is How to Enter.
1. Simply identify the breed as Thoroughbred on your event entry form AND submit along with your entry form, the Thoroughbred Entry Information Form (please click here) for proof of thoroughbred registration. “Thoroughbred" is defined as any horse that has been registered with The Jockey Club.
This form must be submitted with your entry and brought with you to the event as well. For more information on your TB’s Jockey Club registration visit www.tjctip.com, The Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP), sponsors of $100 of 1st place prize money and saddle pad.
2. At each event, 1st place wins $300 plus a saddle pad ($100 of the prize money is provided by TIP, Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program), 2nd place receives $100 and ribbons will be pinned 1st-6th.
3. Your scores will be accumulated throughout the season. Watch the scores posted at www.nyra.com and www.area1usea.org and www.millbrookhorsetrials.com.
4. Millbrook Horse Trials, Aug 2-5 will host the NY Second Career Thoroughbred Circuit’s Grand Finale. The score will be accumulated throughout the season. The highest scoring registered thoroughbred in each level will win $700 for 1st place and $300 for 2nd place. Ribbons will be pinned for placements 1-6.
